13th December at Rommet, Bergen 18-03

We're back in Bergen with the lovely SjuFjell Crew and their mighty Bergsystem at the newest cultural venue in town Rommet. This will be a fundraiser for Sri Lanka. We're also bringing the soundsystem workshop to Bergen for DJs and producers who would like to learn how to operate a dub soundsystem and get a hands-on workshop from folks who built it themselves. November 29th @ Torhaus with TOKOKO and THF Radio

In September, we were invited to THF radio for a takeover as part of their THF Presents series (listen back). As always, we brought the food with us. While there, we learnt that Torhaus, the former gatehouse of Tempelhof airport, is also home to Torhaus Koch Kollektiv. A group of international food lovers and activists who prepare sustainable, inclusive meals together using rescued food. 

We realized something beautiful: the two elements that make up the DNA of Dub&Dal : food and music, are already alive at Torhaus, yet the projects rarely overlap. We’re changing that.

This month, we’re collaborating with TOKOKO to host their monthly Küfa (Küche für Alle / Kitchen for All) while taking over THF Radio once again. Because sometimes, something as simple as sharing food and sound can feel revolutionary.

If you’d like to participate in the cooking, feel free to join us from 16:00. We'll be making Dal and sharing stories and tips about the recipe. Meals are typically served around 19:00 on donation basis. We are raising funds for queerhome. 

Aarti will also unpack the mystery behind garam masala -  spice blends in India. You will have the opportuity to buy her secret blend of whole spices which you can use to add magic to your own recipes.
